About Me...

GREETINGS! I was born and raised in the heart & heat of Dallas, Texas. Growing up, I was encouraged to use my imagination to create things: art, story, dance, accents, characters and of course, memories. After finishing up my BS at Texas A&M University I took a leap of faith and moved to snowy Colorado to pursue a MA in Counseling. Within three years the externals of my life looked real different! I met my husband in September of 2009, got engaged in march of 2010, married on June 2011 and we welcomed our daughter in May 2012! Whew! Can you say identity crisis! Who would have thought that a city girl, shopping Dallasite would end up living in the mountains, with a husky in her backyard, and a collection of boots and chacos in her closet.

Now that life has settled a bit, I desire to return to one of my first loves....writing. I am a grad student, a ministers wife, a new mother, a woman and a child of God. Once encouraged by my family to create, I now encourage myself to write, create, think and play...and to enjoy the life I have been given. This blog will be a collage of life: stories & lessons from my life, inspiration from others lives, and some musings about the things that fill our days on this earth.
